I don’t know if it was my husband wearing it or the costume itself but it looked great! It is pretty well made (considering it is a mass produced costume). The top and bottoms look just like the picture. The shoe covers are easy to pull on and look awesome. Definitely worth the money.
The name Frankenstein is usually used to describe the monstor but it actually was never given a proper name. In the novel it was referred to as “fiend” or “devil” or other spiteful names.
The first time the Frankenstein appeared on film was in 1910 in Edison Studios’ Frankenstein while the “Universal Studios” series, which are more well known, started in 1931 through 1944. In 1931 Boris Karloff played the monstor even though Bela Lugosi was intially offered the role.

When a family of yuppies from New York City move into the house, the newly dead couple seek the help of an obnoxious, devious and mischievous “bio-exorcist” named Betelgeuse from the underworld in order to scare the new occupants out of the house.

The costume definitely looks great for a store bought costume but abit on the pricey side. Heat is a big factor with the costume since the leather body suit gets very hot while wearing it. Still a great costume even with the heat and cost of the outfit.

On of my favorite movie characters is Jack Sparrow from The Pirates of the Caribbean. There are several great Jack Sparrow costumes available and most come with a lot of extras such as a jacket, shirt, vest, chest belt, sash, two waist belts, pants, boot cover, hat, and bandana. You will also want to purchase a sword and some boots but other than that it is a complete movie character costume. At parties people have always commented on how they love the costume and wanted to know where I got it from.
