This costume is a great replica of the Emperors most trusted servant who was once a Jedi Knight and a formal pupal of Obi-Wan Kenobi. The costume includes a jumpsuit with faux leather pants and sleeves, a Lucas Studio original patterned cape, gloves, and a heavy duty injected molded plastic armor pieces which include the collar, shoulder guards, a chest piece, belt,boot tops and a supreme edition helmet and mask. “I used this costume for Halloween 2005, and it was great – everyone at the party liked it, and I won first prize in the costume contest! It is a little difficult to get into (you’ll want help with the zipper) it can get a bit warm too. The way the cape attaches can make it a little difficult to move around (not too bad), but other than that this costume rocks – you won’t be disappointed. I’m about 6’ 4” and 220 pounds, and the XL size fit me perfectly.”

The costume definitely looks great for a store bought costume but abit on the pricey side. Heat is a big factor with the costume since the leather body suit gets very hot while wearing it. Still a great costume even with the heat and cost of the outfit.

They say that Star Wars is one of the first space operas to be put to celluloid so for me the key to this costume is the breathing device. How many times does a scene in the Star Wars movies that features Darth Vader start with the synthetic breathing sound and nothing else ? It’s pretty much his signature tune and you immediately sense menace and gravity in the scene. I imagine if you give everyone a burst of the breathing device at your next party you can recreate this atmosphere…only for a few minutes of course. You don’t want the whole party to feel like the dark side of the moon.

Wow now that is one heck of a Darth Vader Costume! Fairly expensive but if you love Darth definately worth it, I have not seen a Darth costume that looks so real! Cool find!

Wow! This really is the creme de la creme of Darth Vader outfits. You are right it is a bit pricey but no one can match this look. I also checked out your beetlejuice link as I am interested in watching the new Tim Burton film. Another great costume!

Star Wars is really a popular sci-fi movie and Darth Vader never failed to amaze the movie watchers. With it’s breathing as well as it’s suit, Halloween would surely be fun!
This is the best of the best without a doubt. It is pricey but ideal for a gift to a real Star Wars fanatic.
